This could be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of american car history! Pre-wwii cars are often very difficult to find, but this one is especially so. The 1942 lincoln zephyr sedan was part of a very limited production right before the united states entered worldwar ii, causing all domestic car production to halt in support of the war effort. As such, this model year isnearly impossible to find. Unfortunately, after the passing of both of my grandparents, it is time for us to sell it. It was featured in the complete ford book, 4th edition (1976) - pages 104 - 106, and has also been in othermagazines including "old cars illustrated" 1979 (page 19) and "motor klassik" ( a german car magazine) in 1999. It regularly won trophies at car shows and appeared in regional car club publications for quite some time. The odometer says 68,809, but it is unknown if it ever rolled over 100k.
